Short biography
Alexei Kyrilloff - painter, sculpturer, architect, master of assemblage, collage and mirror constructions, saw the light in 1963 Leningrad (today St. Petersburg) former USSR. (This country doesn't exist any more).
From a very young age drawing (the representation of objects and feelings ) was equally important in learning the world and expressing as language.
A fact that shaped his destiny for the year to come.
His artistic education begun in the School of Art for the young near his neighbourhood with Rouben Barossian as his first teacher.
In 1981 Alexei graduated from the Leningrad secondary school of Art ( now known as St. Petersburg State Lyceum of Art B.V. Yoganson of the Russian Academy of Arts).
The same year he successfully qualified for the Faculty of Architecture. Within the atelier of Professor L.L. Shreter at I.E. Repin State Academy Institution for painting, sculpture and architecture ( the oldest and most highly respected Russian Art School, which history traces back to the Imperial Academy of Arts).
In 1987 he graduated with a MSc in Architecture and received his diploma of "Architect-Artist and Pedagogue
From 1987 until 2000 he lives and works in Greece and France. From 1998 he becomes a member of the Greek Society of Artist, and from 2004 till today he recipes perms antsy in Greece.
The first two years following the end of his studies Alexei devotes himself to Architecture, but then he makes a decisive turn towards art which satisfies his thirst for spiritual development and expression in a more holistic way ( mainly due to the liberation from the world of matter)
For a quarter of a century now, Alexei works solely as an "Artist" shaping the world of Art in his own, characteristic style.
